Misty was born at Tartana Kennels in WI On March 16th 2001. She
is the daughter of Dual Champion (DC) Cutty Sark. He passed on the
best of the best to his daughter. Susan DeSilver (Gordon Hill) lovingly
owned Cutty and it was so fitting that Misty’s first litter of puppies was
born on Susan’s birthday. Not only was that a little bit strange but, so
too was it that Susan came to my home to look at Cutty’s grand kids
and just could not walk away without one of them. I did not help matters
very much. I made sure she got her birthday present. That puppy now,
like her grandfather, is known as a dual champion.
Along with DC Indian Sky Gordon Hill Scout came DC Indian Sky
Spellbound Superman. Also out of that litter was CH Indian Sky Cold
Hard Cash And ET (owned by me). That breeding repeated 2 years later
Would produce CH Indian Sky notorious Charlie (AKA Ranch) and Indian
Sky Sapphire Misty (she is still working on her CH. and she will get
it this year along with her sister Indian Sky Setanta Lone Star). Misty
herself has a few show points and a couple of field trial points. She
has also past her master hunter test 2 times. We need four more passes to
receive the title of master hunter. That title is in the plans for this spring.
